Sh.PokerStars.de closure - How can I continue playing on PokerStars?

From April 26, 2023, we stopped offering our services on Sh.PokerStars.de. This means you won’t be able to play our games on this website.

What do I need to know?

  • Your player balance remains safe and secure. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • We refunded all entries to poker tournaments that have yet to start.
  • We converted non-promotional rewards into cash and added them to your balance.

How can I continue playing on PokerStars?

From Germany, you can only play on www.pokerstars.de. You can do so with your existing account details and information.

Just follow these instructions, based on the device you're using:

Desktop software
  1. Log in to your .SH software. We'll ask you to download the new software.
  2. Sign out of the old software.
  3. After the download, log in to the new software.
  4. Read and accept our General Terms, if you agree.
  5. Verify your cell phone number.
  6. Make sure your personal data is correct and complete any missing information.
  7. Check and confirm your limits. The monthly deposit limit is mandatory and can't exceed €1,000.
Mobile or website
  1. Log in to sh.pokerstars.de (if on your smartphone, use your web browser). You'll see a message that you need to log in on a different license.
  2. Follow the prompt to log in to the new license.
  3. Log in by using your .SH credentials.
  4. Read and accept our General Terms, if you agree.
  5. Verify your cell phone number.
  6. Make sure your personal data is correct and complete any missing information.
  7. Check and confirm your limits. The monthly deposit limit is mandatory and can't exceed €1,000.

You'll see all these steps one after the other in the sequence. Once done, you can play and deposit as usual.
