You must verify your details periodically to comply with German regulations.

Verification helps keep your account secure.

How long do I have to verify my details?

You have 30 days to verify your details.

If you do not complete verification within this time, your account will be suspended.

How do I confirm my details?

You have two options to confirm your details.

Option A:

Log in to your account. Select 'Start' on the pop-up notification.

Option B:

Follow these steps for your platform:

  • Desktop: Settings → Account Details → Address
  • Mobile: Account → Personal Details → Address
  • Website: Account → Stars Account Details → Address

What should I check before submitting my details?

Make sure all your details are up to date.

The information you enter must match your identification documents.


What happens after I submit my details?

Your details are verified using a SCHUFA check.

If verification is successful, no further action is required.


What happens if the electronic check fails?

If your details cannot be verified electronically, your account will be suspended.

You will need to complete verification using ID and proof of address.


How do I verify my account with documents?

If electronic validation fails, send us your identification document and proof of address.

You can only play or withdraw after completing the verification process.


Which documents can I use as proof of identity?

We accept these documents as proof of identity:

  • Passport
  • National ID card

What are the requirements for uploading my ID?

Follow these requirements when uploading your document:

  • Your ID must be valid and not due to expire within 30 days.
  • All details must be clear and legible.
  • All four corners of the document must be visible.
  • Your full ID must be shown, with all information visible.
  • Place the document on a plain background, such as white paper.
  • Use good lighting and avoid using the flash.

Which documents can I use as proof of address (POA)?

We accept any of these documents as proof of address:

  • Telephone or mobile bills
  • Utility bill (i.e., gas, electricity, Internet, etc.)
  • Bank statement
  • ID card with current address
  • Certificate of registration (Meldebescheinigung / Meldebestätigung)
  • Tax assessment document (valid within 12 months from the date of issue)
  • Property ownership document
  • Correspondence from the government, local authorities or benefits letter
  • Pension or social security letter
  • Insurance documents
  • Financial institution letters
  • Rental agreements (with date and signature)
  • Employer’s letters

What are the requirements for uploading my POA?

Follow these requirements when uploading your documents:

  • All the details must be clear and legible.
  • The four corners of the document must be visible.
  • Your full name, current address, and issue date must be visible.
  • The proof of address document is no older than 3 months.
