A 'chop' takes place when players on the final table of a tournament agree to split the remaining prize money.
To discuss a chop, each player must tick 'Discuss a deal' under the 'Info' tab in the chat box. On a mobile device, it's under the arrow icon at the bottom left of the table.
There's no need for you to sit out of the tournament. Just make sure you've ticked the checkbox. If you change your mind, un-check the 'Discuss a Deal' box at any time.
Once all players check 'Discuss a deal,' the tournament pauses. The automated deal tool window pops up, showing the two available types of deals:
For the deal to go through, all players have to agree to the same type. You can see how many players have agreed to each type of deal at the bottom of the deal window. To stop the deal, select 'Decline'.
Once all players have agreed to the same deal, a confirmation message pops up and the tournament resumes. Even if a deal is complete, the tournament must continue until it finishes. After each elimination, players will receive the agreed prize and a confirmation email.
